This one is actually in my back yard after the first day. I wore the Viking apron dress I made last summer. It was made from about 2.5 yards of tabby-woven wool (because what else can you do with that amount?), with wool inkle trim woven by yours truly. The linen Dublin cap was part of the largess my husband and I were given by the outgoing Baron and Baroness at Raptor War. I wanted just one good photo of me in my Viking garb, and my faithful hound/soulmate Betsy couldn't resist a chance to come get some loves. I actually adore this photo, even though she's not a very period dog, from what I can tell.
This picture is from the second day, and it's Lord Aonghus, myself in my blue bliaut with the attached skirt (I really ought to bite the bullet and fix that uneven neckline), and my sister Thora with her borrowed foil. She's really starting to enjoy the rapier stuff. Isn't she a cutie?
